Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; strong first-time travelers may be considered
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- ACLS preferred
- Ability to float to units within clinical competency
- Strong adaptability, reliability, and excellent communication skills
- Must be prepared to complete required compliance steps prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for geriatric, sub-acute, and post-acute patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, coordinated patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support a patient-centered environment with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain flexibility to assist in areas within scope and competency as needed
