Mammography Technologist Travel Job in Seattle, WA – Lead Mammography Rad Tech
Join a respected Seattle healthcare team in Ballard and bring your mammography expertise to a well-established outpatient imaging center. This travel Mammography Technologist job in Seattle, Washington offers the chance to work in a highly desirable waterfront neighborhood with strong community appeal, great dining, and easy access to outdoor spaces.
This is a 13-week travel assignment for an experienced Lead Mammography Technologist who is confident in both clinical skills and team leadership. You will support a busy adult and geriatric patient population while helping deliver high-quality breast imaging services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
- Lead experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (M) certification required
- Active Washington state Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with digital mammography, 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and screening mammograms
- Knowledge of radiation safety and digital quality assurance procedures
- Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment and support a high daily patient volume
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging procedures with accuracy, professionalism, and patient compassion
- Provide leadership support within the mammography team and help guide day-to-day workflow
- Conduct screening, diagnostic, and 3D mammograms according to established protocols
- Support digital quality assurance and maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
- Assist with stereotactic biopsy and breast ultrasound workflows as needed
- Ensure high-quality images and a positive patient experience throughout each exam
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic charting system
- Collaborate with radiology team members to support efficient patient care and smooth department operations
