Job Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of inpatient acute care, Med/Surg, or similar clinical experience
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, skin care, and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with patient transport, admissions, discharges, and transfers in an acute care setting
- Take and record vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, and bedside glucose testing as directed
- Respond to call lights and patient requests promptly and communicate needs to the care team
- Support a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Assist with indirect care tasks such as stocking supplies, delivering specimens, answering phones, and running errands
- Document care provided and report changes in patient condition to the charge nurse or team leader
