Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Night Shift in Danville, Illinois

Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain it quickly
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfort using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
- Must meet facility compliance requirements, including required health screening and documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Document assessments, care plans, and patient responses accurately in EPIC EMR
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining patient safety and continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional RN care
