Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- No minimum years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Ability to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate bedside care
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts and participate in an every-other-weekend rotation
- Willingness to complete standard onboarding and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and maintain timely charting
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Support a positive, patient-centered environment focused on safety and teamwork
