Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience plus 1 prior travel assignment, OR 4 years Med/Surg RN experience without travel
• Active RN license: Georgia RN or Compact RN license (required)
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred) and either ASLS or NIHSS Certification required
• EMR proficiency required; MEDITECH experience preferred
• Ability to float between units and adapt to changing assignments during shifts
• Must comply with strict 75-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Med/Surg unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately in MEDITECH
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed — support varied acute care nursing needs
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and ongoing training for travel nurses
• Work every other weekend and rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications throughout the assignment
