Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
- Experience in Med/Surg or rehabilitation settings preferred (medical-surgical nursing, rehab nursing)
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission for medical-surgical and rehabilitation patients
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning at admission to support safe transitions of care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital guidelines, infection prevention, and safety protocols
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and seek consultation as needed
- Participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
- Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation (charge RN duties)
- Engage in professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical competence
