Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Oklahoma
- At least 1 year of recent adult medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an on-site hospital setting
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
- Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
Adult Medical-Surgical RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients during overnight shifts
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete required nursing handoff communication
- Deliver effective patient care within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio while promoting safety, comfort, and quality care
