Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a rural hospital or acute care setting
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical-surgical nursing environment with frequent admissions and discharges
- Team-oriented mindset and strong electronic health record charting skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
- Care for patients with respiratory conditions, CHF, cellulitis, and post-surgical needs
- Monitor telemetry and interpret strips independently
- Collaborate closely with the charge nurse, clinical care coordinator, CNAs, and support staff
- Deliver safe, thorough documentation and maintain high standards of patient care
- Assist with outpatient infusions when needed
- Support a positive, flexible team environment focused on quality outcomes
