Med/Surg Registered Nurse Travel Job – Night Shift in Pocatello, Idaho

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong clinical skills caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and adapt to changing patient care needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process
- Provide Med-Surg nursing care for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD, altered mental status, post-operative needs, AKI, trauma, respiratory failure, bowel obstruction, pyelonephritis, cardiac conditions, diabetes, GI conditions, isolation precautions, and substance withdrawal
- Document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record
- Work collaboratively with IV, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response, and other support teams
- Maintain professionalism, strong prioritization, and effective communication in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Support patient safety goals and adapt to varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
