Travel RN Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
  • Location: Port Angeles, WA (Zip: 98362) — Washington nursing jobs / travel nursing in Port Angeles
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 17, 2026 – July 17, 2026)
  • Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 – 19:30)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed 72 hours per two weeks)
  • Care Setting: Acute care, Medical-Surgical Unit (Medical-Surgical RN role). May float to Telemetry.
  • Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing assignment

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Active RN license (Washington license or compact state RN license accepted)
  • BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • COVID-19 vaccine required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience in acute care
  • EPIC electronic charting experience required (clinical documentation / EMR proficiency)
  • Computer documentation experience preferred

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical-Surgical unit as a hospital RN
  • Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC (electronic medical record)
  • Float to the Telemetry unit in rotation and maintain safe telemetry patient care when assigned
  • Maintain established nurse-to-patient ratios (Days: 1:4; Nights: 1:6–7)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including assignment cancellation policy (1 shift every 4 weeks)
