Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 – $1,970
• Location: Port Angeles, WA 98362 (Port Angeles travel RN opportunity)
• Setting: Acute Care – Medical-Surgical Unit (Medical-Surgical RN / Acute Care RN)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 17, 2026 – July 17, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30) – Night shift Travel RN
• Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours per two weeks guaranteed)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license — required for travel RN assignments
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience in acute care
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system preferred (clinical documentation / EMR experience)
• Strong computer documentation skills and ability to work in fast-paced hospital settings

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a busy Medical-Surgical unit as an Acute Care RN
• Float to Telemetry unit as needed in rotation (Telemetry / Tele nursing skills helpful)
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 (days) and 1:6-7 (nights)
• Document care and assessments accurately using EPIC / EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
