• Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours (4 × 12-hour shifts possible)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,980–$2,080/week
• On-Site Position: Yes — in-person clinical role

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Illinois (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment in the EMR
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed with safe medication administration practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Participate in patient safety initiatives and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
