Job Details

- Contract Length: Approximately 18 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Active Permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred/required based on unit expectations
- Experience working in an acute care Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- One manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months
- Completion of required pre-start compliance items and onboarding modules
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to unit standards and physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and fellow nurses to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical quality and patient safety standards
- Support a fast-paced inpatient environment with professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability
