Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Corvallis, Oregon
Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Corvallis, Oregon. Provide high-quality acute-care nursing to adults with complex medical conditions and surgical recovery needs while gaining experience in telemetry, orthopedic, and bariatric care.
This on-site Oregon travel nurse assignment supports emergent and elective surgical patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Corvallis is a welcoming Willamette Valley community known for scenic surroundings, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant college-town atmosphere.

Travel RN Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required at submission
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
- Recent Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Experience with stable cardiac telemetry monitoring required
- Orthopedic and bariatric nursing experience preferred
- Medical-surgical nursing specialty certification encouraged
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill adults and patients recovering from emergent or elective surgery
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Monitor patients requiring stable cardiac telemetry and promptly communicate changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, recovery, and discharge needs
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic
- Support a professional, patient-centered care environment across medical-surgical, orthopedic, and bariatric populations
