Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse - Travel Contract in Camden, New Jersey
Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, NJ. This on-site Registered Nurse job is ideal for a confident RN with acute care experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting and is available to work every weekend. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Location: Camden, New Jersey
- Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
- Start Date: 7/7/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Every weekend, Friday-Sunday
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 3+ years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
- Recent experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility required
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
- Respond quickly and appropriately in a high-acuity, fast-paced acute care environment
- Float to similar units based on patient care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely charting and communication throughout each shift
