Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, New Jersey. - Schedule: Every weekend, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM; no holiday time off allowed during the assignment

- Work Setting: On-site acute care hospital
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 3+ years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
- Recent experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma or acute care hospital setting required
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, patient assessment, and telemetry monitoring skills
- Availability to work the required weekend schedule and remain available for holidays during the assignment, as no holiday time off is permitted
RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical Telemetry environment
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, high-quality patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Support patient admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing care coordination
- Float to similar units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical best practices
