Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, NJ. Travel Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Location: Camden, New Jersey
- Start Date: 7/7/2026
- End Date: 10/3/2026
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Schedule: Every weekend, Friday-Saturday-Sunday
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Setting: Med/Surg Tele at a busy Level 1 Trauma facility
- Float Requirement: Required to float to all like units
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
- Recent experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility required
- Active New Jersey RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work every weekend schedule
- Strong adaptability and willingness to float to similar units as needed
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in a high-volume acute care environment
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including telemetry findings and changes in status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective, and patient-centered care
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical standards
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support continuity of care during weekend night coverage in a fast-paced trauma-focused setting
