Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Camden, NJ
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, New Jersey. This onsite acute care nursing opportunity is ideal for a confident RN who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is comfortable floating to like units as needed. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Location: Camden, New Jersey
- Start Date: 7/7/2026
- End Date: 10/3/2026
- Duration: 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: Weekend coverage required; candidates must work 4 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period, and no holiday time off is allowed during the assignment
- Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours
- Shift: 7:00 PM start, weekend coverage
- Setting: Med/Surg Tele, acute care, Level 1 Trauma facility
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility
- Current and active New Jersey RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NIHSS certification
- Experience in telemetry nursing, medical-surgical care, and adult inpatient nursing preferred
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele and telemetry nursing setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Deliver compassionate care while supporting patients and families throughout the treatment process
