Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel RN contract in Camden, New Jersey. This on-site acute care nursing job is ideal for a confident Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, is comfortable floating to like units, and has recent Med Surg Telemetry experience. Located in Camden’s 08103 area near the Delaware River and across from Philadelphia, this healthcare job offers access to regional transportation, dining, entertainment, and a strong local healthcare community.

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma setting
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NIHSS certification
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability in a high-acuity environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing demands
- Maintain excellent patient safety standards throughout weekend coverage
