- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,630 - $1,750
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
- Completion of all onboarding requirements, including background check, health screenings, competency testing, and required immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB screening)
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the healthcare process
- Maintain a safe, compliant work environment following hospital and healthcare regulations
