Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent Med-Surg Telemetry experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Previous experience in a telemetry, med/surg, or acute care nursing setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and document nursing care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Prioritize patient needs, manage workflow efficiently, and uphold excellent clinical standards
- Deliver compassionate bedside care while helping create a positive patient experience
