- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, varies
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty area
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Experience supporting patients in an acute neuro, neuro step-down, or similar specialized nursing setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute neuro unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Document patient care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication
- Support patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout the assignment
- Deliver compassionate bedside care in a specialized acute care environment
