Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at the time of submission
- 2 years of NICU experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred/required
- Current BLS certification required
- NRP or NRP Advanced required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Strong neonatal nursing skills, including thermoregulation, respiratory support, IV management, and family education
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for neonates in a Level II NICU
- Monitor and support infants with diagnoses such as prematurity, RDS, TTN, hyperbilirubinemia, hypoglycemia, and rule-out sepsis
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal assessment and stabilization
- Manage and support respiratory therapies, including Bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and ventilator-related care as needed
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies according to neonatal care protocols
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:2 and deliver attentive, family-centered care
- Float to the baby nursery as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care
