Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Details
- Location: Seattle, Washington 98122
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,050
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Weekend Requirement: No weekends required
- Call: No required call; optional call may be available if desired
- Healthcare Setting: On-site neuro and cardiac nuclear medicine imaging
- Travelers: First-time travel technologists are welcome to apply
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current Washington State license or appropriate compact licensure in hand
- Current CNMT certification
- Current BLS certification
- PET experience or certification preferred
- Experience with neuro and cardiac nuclear medicine procedures preferred
- Knowledge of DaTscans, cerebral blood flow studies, cardiac imaging, and stress testing preferred
- Epic or comparable electronic health record experience preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent patient care and diagnostic imaging quality standards
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures for adult patients in neuro and cardiac settings
- Support DaTscan, cerebral blood flow, nuclear cardiology, and PET-related procedures as qualified
- Conduct exercise/rest and pharmacological stress studies according to established protocols
- Prepare, administer, and safely handle radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with applicable regulations and department procedures
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, acquire high-quality studies, and recognize technical or clinical concerns
- Provide clear patient instruction, comfort, and safety monitoring throughout imaging procedures
- Document patient care and examination information accurately in the electronic health record
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, isolation, and personal protective equipment practices
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to support timely diagnostic services
