- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 - $2,110
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Weekend/Call: On call every third week
- Setting: Hospital-based nuclear medicine department
- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience preferred
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required in hand
- BLS certification required
- Experience with PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures preferred
- Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
- Experience using the Epic charting system preferred
- Ability to start and maintain IVs
- Knowledge of radioactive materials handling, storage, and disposal
- Comfort working with adult imaging protocols and a variety of diagnostic studies
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure a positive patient experience
- Operate imaging equipment and follow department protocols for quality studies
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain strict radiation safety standards
- Support a department that performs a broad range of studies, including whole body, renal, liver, bone, and perfusion imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system as needed
- Collaborate with radiology and transportation teams to support smooth patient flow
- Contribute to a high-performing healthcare team focused on excellent patient care
