Job Requirements
- Current Maine RN license required
- Active BLS certification required
- ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- At least 1 year of Operating Room RN, perioperative nursing, or acute care nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a team-oriented healthcare setting
- Must be flexible with scheduling needs
- Compliance with applicable vaccination requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective patient care in the operating room under the supervision of the unit leadership team
- Support patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to promote smooth workflow and quality patient care
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to clinical changes throughout the perioperative process
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold a high standard of clinical practice
- Contribute to a positive, professional surgical team environment focused on patient safety, quality, and efficiency
