Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or compact license in hand at submission
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required
- Experience in perioperative nursing, surgical nursing, or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to perform in a fast-paced surgical setting
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to complete onboarding and compliance requirements before the start date
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process
- Support the surgical team during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op workflows as needed
- Monitor patient status, maintain sterile technique, and assist with operating room procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care accurately and follow facility policies and clinical standards
- Adapt to unit needs and contribute to a smooth, efficient operating room environment
