Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370-$2,500

- Schedule: Day shifts; 4 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (3 10-hour shifts Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday may be considered)
- Call Requirement: No call
- Weekend Requirement: No weekends
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Setting: Ambulatory surgery center with 6 OR rooms and 4 PACU rooms
Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- Strong perioperative nursing skills, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op support
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical supplies for procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to support safe, efficient operations
- Monitor patient status and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols
- Support smooth patient flow between the OR and PACU environments
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining efficiency in a busy surgery center
