  • Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
  • Shifts Per Week: 3
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610

  • Orientation: 40 hours
  • Schedule: Night shift with weekend and on-call expectations as needed

Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
  • Active compact nursing license available at submission
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
  • Trauma Level I experience required
  • Experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho surgical cases required
  • Travel RN experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as scheduled
  • Must be willing to float between like units and nearby sister facilities if needed
  • Must submit all requested time-off needs up front

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment
  • Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including trauma, ortho, neuro, vascular, general, GU, GYN, plastics, and ENT cases
  • Support safe patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-procedure handoff coordination
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, scrub staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain efficient workflow
  • Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations as assigned
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
  • Follow established safety, infection control, and universal protocol standards
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced trauma-capable OR setting
