Travel Nursing Job Details

Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and surgical safety standards
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and participate in weekend and holiday rotation
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality registered nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
- Prepare patients, equipment, supplies, and the operating room for scheduled surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative care team
- Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols
- Monitor patient status, anticipate clinical needs, and communicate changes promptly
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with department standards
- Support efficient operating room turnover and contribute to a positive, team-focused surgical environment
