- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Amarillo, Texas
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts with a rotating day off
- Call: Required, including rotating call days
- Charting System: Epic
- Orientation: 20 hours onsite
- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- First-time travelers welcome
- Ability to work in a busy surgical setting with rotating call responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Support a wide variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics/spine, thoracic, vascular, gynecologic, ENT, urology, trauma, and pediatric procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist throughout the intraoperative experience
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support efficient surgical workflow
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled and contribute to safe, timely patient care
