Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Nebraska
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to work onsite in an acute-care surgical environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Ability to document accurately in an electronic medical record; EPIC experience is preferred
Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative experience
- Prepare operating rooms, supplies, equipment, and patients for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical care team
- Maintain strict adherence to surgical asepsis, infection-prevention standards, and patient-safety protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist with surgical counts, specimen handling, medication administration, and accurate clinical documentation
- Support efficient operating room turnover and contribute to a positive, professional surgical environment
