Job Details – Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) / Travel RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Location: Savannah, GA 31404 (Savannah healthcare jobs, Georgia nursing jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Night Shift, Block Schedule, No Call, No Weekends
• Setting: 30 Operating Rooms; Region's only Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital (perioperative, trauma, pediatric surgical cases)

Qualifications – OR Nurse / Perioperative RN Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact state) – Registered Nurse required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Level II or Level I Trauma experience required; ability to manage incoming traumas
• Ability to circulate across all surgical service lines (trauma, pediatric, general, specialty)
• CNOR certification preferred (perioperative nursing)
• Proficiency with Epic documentation system (electronic health record experience)
• Professional appearance: navy scrubs (home laundered)

Responsibilities – Surgical RN / OR Circulator

• Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical service lines, including high-acuity trauma and pediatric cases
• Collaborate closely with OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, and Anesthesia Techs to ensure seamless perioperative care
• Maintain patient safety and a 1:1 patient ratio in the operating room
• Operate and utilize various OR equipment and perioperative technology
• Document all perioperative care accurately and timely using Epic
• Support a family-like team environment focused on quality, teamwork, and patient-centered care
