Travel RN Job Details
- Position: Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Shifts Per Week: 4 shifts per week, with some weeks scheduled at 36 hours and others at 48 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Location: Springfield, IL
Orthopedic RN Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with limited attempts
- Must be available for RTO submission at time of application
Orthopedic Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for orthopedic patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Support recovery, mobility, and comfort for patients following orthopedic procedures or treatments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a professional, compassionate approach while delivering excellent bedside care
