• Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00)
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,220 - $2,380
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Patient Volume: Approximately 48 visits per day
• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy or the outpatient therapy service line
• Active physical therapist license in hand required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Manual Therapy certification preferred
• Dry Needling certification preferred
• Charting system experience required; Altera experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel PT experience preferred
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatients with a wide variety of orthopedic, neurologic, post-operative, and movement-related conditions
• Develop individualized plans of care to support functional recovery, mobility, and long-term patient goals
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions including gait training, strengthening, mobility work, manual techniques, and patient education
• Monitor progress, reassess outcomes, and update treatment plans based on patient response
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
• Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic charting system
• Collaborate with therapy teammates and interdisciplinary support staff to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain a positive, patient-centered approach while managing a steady outpatient caseload
