Outpatient PT Contract Job Details

• Location: Freehold, NJ
• Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy (Adult Outpatient)
• Start Date: 03/30/2026
• Contract Length: 12 weeks (through 06/22/2026)
• Schedule: Days, 5x8s (08:30–16:00)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekends/Call/Holidays: No call; weekends/holidays not expected per facility notes
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,030–$2,190

Physical Therapist (PT) Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of outpatient PT experience (adult outpatient required)
• License: Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
• Certification: BLS (required)
• Clinical Skills: Comfort treating neurologic and balance/gait conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, stroke/CVA, MS)
• Productivity: Ability to manage a pace of at least ~9 patient visits per day
• Vaccinations: Must be fully vaccinated to include COVID booster (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only); Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Scrubs: Any color scrubs
• Travel: First-time travel PTs welcome

Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care for a broad outpatient caseload
• Provide evidence-based interventions for neurologic, orthopedic, post-op, and gait/balance dysfunction
• Deliver patient and family education, including home exercise programs and safety training
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently in the facility charting system (Epic)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient-centered outcomes
• Maintain compliance with department standards, scheduling expectations, and clinical best practices
