- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: Per diem weekend coverage; must work 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 12 hours per week
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a busy Level 1 trauma environment
- Active New Jersey RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient healthcare setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Administer treatments and nursing interventions according to established protocols
- Respond effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
- Float to similar units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
- Maintain compliance with facility standards, safety practices, and nursing best practices
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting efficient outpatient operations
