• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

• Schedule: 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation; no guarantee of hours
• Shift: Schedule varies
• On-Call: No call
• Floating: May float to other acute care units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start date
• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive care RN and telemetry nursing experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech charting and medication dispensing systems preferred
• Comfort working in a collaborative acute care environment with varying patient acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care for progressive care and step-down patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret telemetry strips accurately
• Perform fingerstick blood sugar checks and support routine bedside assessments
• Administer medications safely and document care in the electronic health record
• Use clinical judgment to respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
• Float to other acute care units as assigned based on department needs
