- Minimum 1 year Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience required
- High-acuity drip management experience preferred (IV drips/pumps)
- Arterial line experience preferred
- Bipap / Airvo respiratory support experience preferred
- Active RN license: Missouri or Compact RN license accepted
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Ability to float to lesser units as needed to support hospital staffing
- Nicotine-free facility
PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to PCU patients during night shifts
- Monitor and manage patients requiring high-acuity drips, arterial lines, and advanced respiratory support
- Perform assessments, administer medications, titrate IV drips, and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to facility protocols and quality standards
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training for travel nurse assignments
- Support unit staffing by floating to lesser acuity units as requested
