  • Travel Eligibility: Must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette, MI to qualify as a travel candidate

Job Requirements (PCU RN)

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
  • Minimum 1 year recent PCU or acute care experience (progressive care nurse experience preferred)
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced progressive care unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care and sub-acute patients in the PCU
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage telemetry/monitoring as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support services to coordinate patient care
  • Support post-surgical and sub-acute care including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, pediatric PACU/OR support, bariatric medicine, and cardiac/vascular patients
  • Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to physicians and families
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and progressive care nursing standards
