We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary physician for a locum tenens assignment providing coverage for hospital consults and outpatient clinic visits. This position offers predictable weekday hours, no evening call, and the opportunity to support a patient-focused pulmonary practice in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of pulmonary medicine or pulmonology experience preferred
• Active medical licensure and/or eligibility to practice in Maryland
• IMLC in hand accepted
• Experience providing both inpatient consults and outpatient pulmonary clinic care
• Comfort managing a steady pulmonary patient volume
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary consults for hospitalized patients
• See patients in clinic during scheduled outpatient hours
• Evaluate new and follow-up pulmonary patients
• Manage a typical daily volume of approximately 3-6 consults
• Work efficiently within allotted visit times for return and new patients
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pulmonary and respiratory care
• Adapt to changing coverage needs as scheduling demands evolve
