Job Details (Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens)

• Job Title: Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist (Physician)
• Position Type: Locum tenens / travel physician assignment
• Setting: Outpatient, free-standing cancer centers
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Coverage Dates: ASAP (anticipated 2026-03-09 to 2026-06-08)
• Call / Weekends: Call handled by permanent providers
• Patient Volume: ~20 outpatient/day; ~1 inpatient/day
• EMR: Mosaiq, Epic
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

Job Requirements (Radiation Oncologist)

• Board Certification: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required)
• Licensure: Active Ohio medical license (required) or willingness to obtain (acceptable)
• Certifications: BLS (required)
• Compliance: NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation (required)

Responsibilities (Outpatient Radiation Oncology)

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care for an adult patient population in an outpatient clinic setting
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe radiation therapy aligned with evidence-based standards
• Order and interpret appropriate tests and imaging to support treatment planning and ongoing management
• Deliver and oversee conventional and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including:
  • Conventional Radiotherapy
  • 3D Radiotherapy / 3D-CRT
  • IGRT and IMRT
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • SBRT and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
• Document care clearly and timely within Mosaiq and Epic
• Collaborate with the onsite multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure safe, coordinated, patient-centered care
