- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860-$1,960
- Float Areas: May float to Med Surg, CCU, and ER as needed
- EMR: Meditech
- Dress Code: Plain-color scrubs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Rehab nursing or Med Surg experience required
- IV experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Preferred experience with wound care, stroke, or TBI patients
- Flexible, kind, and thorough approach to patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient rehabilitation nursing care with a focus on safety, recovery, and independence
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately in Meditech, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to standards of practice
- Support patients with mobility, rehabilitation goals, and daily progression plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with wound care, neurological recovery, and Med Surg-level nursing needs as assigned
- Adapt to floating assignments in CCU, ER, or Med Surg while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
