Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation | Sacramento, CA
Join a patient-focused inpatient acute rehabilitation team in Sacramento, California, and help patients rebuild independence after stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. - Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent rehab nursing or inpatient acute care nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Comfort caring for adult patients with complex rehabilitation needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients recovering from injury or illness in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support rehabilitation goals through collaborative, patient-centered care
- Care for patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, isolation needs, trachs, and complex wound care
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and best practices
- Document patient care accurately in the facility’s electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Maintain a compassionate, professional approach that supports patient recovery and progress
