Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Location: Charlestown, MA 02129 (Boston area travel nursing job)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Setting: Adult Stroke/Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (30 beds) – inpatient rehab nursing
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), 4 days per week, every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week
• Employment Type: Travel assignment / Travel Nurse / Travel RN

Rehabilitation RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing, stroke unit, or neuro/stroke care
• Acute Rehab RN certification preferred (CRRN or similar)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Ability to complete required onboarding, health screenings, and background checks
• Travel nursing experience and familiarity with inpatient rehab documentation preferred

Key Responsibilities – Stroke & Neuro Rehab

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients recovering from stroke and neurological conditions
• Perform neurological assessments, monitor patient progress, and document changes in condition
• Administer medications, manage lines/tubes as appropriate, and coordinate nursing tasks for safety and quality
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (PT, OT, SLP, physicians, case management) to develop and implement individualized care and discharge plans
• Provide patient and family education on rehabilitation goals, mobility, ADLs, and community resources
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold unit standards for infection control and patient safety
