Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state
• At least 1 year of professional registered nursing experience
• Urology nursing experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care

Outpatient RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards, clinical protocols, and provider direction
• Complete clinic intake, including collection and documentation of vital signs, health history, symptoms, and patient concerns
• Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
• Support the care of patients receiving renal and urology services in an outpatient clinic setting
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Educate patients and families within the scope of practice and reinforce treatment instructions
• Collaborate with providers and the clinical team to promote safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
