Registered Nurse (ER) Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including triage and prioritization of patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and vital signs
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
