Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience (ED/trauma experience preferred)
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED)
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care for high-acuity patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Participate in trauma response and manage critical patients in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and discharge instructions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
