Required Qualifications
- Active RN license: Pennsylvania RN or valid multi-state/compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS and TNCC preferred (trauma/critical care / ED certifications a plus)
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
- Experience with EMR documentation and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room / Emergency Department
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on patient acuity
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Support resuscitation, trauma response, and critical care stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
